It’s been a mystery to me for several years now why boys and girls bang on daily about hitting the gym to get fit, lose weight, and be in top shape!

I want to set the record straight: Training does not help you lose weight unless you work out like a madman like The Rock — but that’s all fake!

But be warned, people like him, including all other bodybuilding monsters you see in the gym, are taking tons of anabolic steroids.

Want to know one of the “coolest” side effects of these steroids?

“Steroid use disrupts the normal production of hormones in the body. Changes that can be reversed include decreased sperm production,56–59 decreased function of the testes (hypogonadism) that leads to low testosterone levels,60 and shrinking of the testicles (testicular atrophy).” National Institute of Drug Abuse

That makes men, in particular, rather idiotic if they take them.

A whole other array of nasty side effects also happen to the body and mind. Here are a couple of snapshots to fill you in.

So next time you spot a big bulky guy walking around like a guerilla in a gym, remember this.

He’s got a small penis and can barely have sex!

Is really worth it, guys?

It similarly affects bodybuilding women — it slowly turns them into semi-men. That’s not so nice, nor are those hugely muscled-up legs and butts, ladies.

Work out naturally using your body weight and no drugs to build those guns!

Push-ups versus bench presses

There are many reasons push-ups will always beat the bench press.

The primary 2 are:

1 — You cannot injure yourself doing push-ups because it’s a 100% natural movement that aligns with how your body is designed.

2 — You can practice push-ups everywhere at any time and do not need to visit a gym to bench press.

The dangers of bench-presses

1 — To improve and bulk up, you must keep adding weight, risking pulled muscles and joint injuries.

2 — You will almost always need someone to spot you, making it a cumbersome way to train.

3 — Gym bench pressing competition among friends has long since become a trend.

They push themselves too hard, pumping a ton of the stress hormone cortisol into their hearts, which causes heart disease and can even suffer a brain vessel to rupture and die on the spot.

Those are 3 great reasons to avoid the bench press and the gym.

Natural push-ups in nature are the best — you can endlessly build your reps and style

When I do a push-up training set, I aim for 50 reps times 3 to 6 sets, depending on how I feel that day. That is 150 to 300 push-ups in one session, blasting your chest, shoulders, neck, arms, and core.

What could be better than that, outdoors in a park, on a beach, in your garden, wherever.

To spice things up, I use 6 types of push-ups:

1 — Classic

2 — Narrow grip

3 — Wide grip

4 — Alternating one hand high, the other low grip

5 — Incline with your feet raised on a bench or chair

6 — Clapping

Push-ups are never dull, and you can make them a fun healthy lean muscle-building challenge with zero risk of hurting yourself.

Win-Win!

Final Thoughts

Please stop being dimwits believing in all the gym fake talk, and constantly hitting it.

Gyms are not good for your health — they can harm your body and mental health.

One last tip: Do not buy protein shakes at your gym. 90% of them are full of chemicals and bad for you. Eat healthy, clean protein instead.
