Food & Sugar Addiction Is One Of The Biggest Health Problems We Face – How To Break The Habit!

Most don’t know they're addicted to unhealthy food. But, for those of you who do, I’ve got the solution for you.

Many people don’t realize food addiction exists and have fallen for the food industry’s promotion of unhealthy foods.

Not only that — it gets worse.

What can you expect folks to think when the American Heart Association permits its logo to be printed on bottles of seed oils and cereal boxes with the manufacturers claiming their products are “heart healthy.” 

Sugar-laden cereals and chemically altered seed oils that burn at low temperatures are not healthy!

Repeatedly Heated Vegetable Oils and Lipid Peroxidation.

The food industry’s repeatedly fake claims have caused type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and obesity to explode over the past 30 years.

Then we have the “superstar athletes,” who are multi-millionaires and promote junk food as healthy.

For example:

Serena Williams markets General Mills’ “Wheaties” as “The Breakfast for Champions.” That is false, and a shame Serena Williams promotes this incorrect claim. 

Wheaties are made from wheat, which converts to sugar and added sugar, which induces weight gain and makes people unhealthy. 

“Wheaties” is nothing but a sugar bomb!

It’s sad, especially when it’s a known fact that African Americans are more affected by obesity, heart attacks, and strokes than most other ethnicities in the USA.

The list of athletes endorsing unhealthy foods is too long to write, so I’ve included the below link instead for you to check.

Let’s also not forget one significant fact. The ads mainly targeted kids or young adults.

A shock to my system: I was hiking a mountain a while ago and stopped to have lunch of roasted chicken at a local restaurant. I saw the owner — a mother of a 3-year-old child — hand her little girl a can of classic Coke.

The kid took it with a big smile on her face and gulped down this sugar-laden drink.

Thank you, Coca Cola for ruining the lives of innocent young kids and adults too. Shame on you and the owners, too — Warren Buffet is one of the largest shareholders and has made billions with this toxic drinks company.

Berkshire Hathaway’s Coca-Cola Stake and History:

“The investor owns 9.21% of the outstanding Coca-Cola stock. The first Coca-Cola trade was made in Q4 1998. Since then, Warren Buffett bought shares ten more times and sold shares on eight occasions.”
“The stake cost the investor $13.2 Billion, netting the investor a gain of 82% so far.”

Ditching The Addiction

Once I studied food and drinks and their effect on the human body and brain, the pain and fear I was going through became crystal clear.

I was shocked when I discovered I’d been eating primarily trash food all of my life, wrongfully thinking it was healthy.

Like everyone else, I read those marketing slogans on packaged foods and ate cereal like a “champion” daily, along with a hefty dose of pasta, bread, pizza, sugary treats, snacks, desserts, fruit yogurt, fruit juices, beer, and sugar-filled sodas.

1 — You must learn about food and drinks and their effects on your body.

Without understanding what you put in your mouth and how it affects your health, there’s no chance for you to heal your addiction.

That’s the # 1 priority — study food.

Do not listen to the mainstream media, old-school nutritionists, dietitians, and doctors who tell you to eat a “whole balanced diet” with whole grains that mainly contain products made with white flour, as mentioned above.

2 — Sugar is addictive — please try to give it up.

I’m not joking. Sugar is highly addictive and causes an array of nasty illnesses and health complications.

Here’s a list of a few:

  • Tooth decay
  • Acid reflux
  • Inflammation of organs and gut
  • Loss of concentration and short-term memory
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Headaches
  • Insomnia
  • High blood pressure
  • Plaque in your veins
  • Strokes
  • Heart Attacks

Americans are eating and drinking too many added sugars, which can contribute to health problems such as weight gain and obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.

However, for some mysterious reason, sugar is the most-grown crop in the world.

In other words — the sugar industry is MASSIVE and is legally slowly making you, your family, and your friends unhealthy.

I hope you now understand how dangerous sugar is – it’s the No 1 cause of obesity and it’s a killer!

3 — Commitment, willpower, dedication, and no excuses!

This last point is as vital to comprehend as the previous 2. It’s about your mind and brainpower.

I’ve had folks tell me they simply can’t help their sweet tooth and stop eating sugary foods.

Your mind is messing with you — that’s what sugar does. It addicts you, and all your brain can think of is where’s my next sugar treat?

That doesn’t only apply to sweets — you think the same whenever you drive by a pizza, pasta, bakery, or bagel outlet.

You must say no! Commit to not eating it anymore and start to eat healthy “real food.”

Think about yourself — look at your face and body in the mirror. Are you happy with what you see? Do you feel great?

If not, then take action and do something about it.

Commit, dedicate yourself to your new life plan, exhibit willpower and say no to the bad stuff, and do not make any more excuses!

Final Thoughts

I have no choice other than be direct about this issue because I care about people’s health.

I get upset when I see parents unknowingly feeding their toddlers Coca-Cola.

The food industry is slowly, but more rapidly than ever before, making people sick and killing them.

Does anyone care about that?
