6 Health Hacks Our Ancient Ancestors Practiced – They Followed Natural Principles and Their Intuition To Keep Themselves Healthy and Alive!

It's hard to imagine how our ancient ancestors survived without the infrastructure and modern benefits we have today.

They knew how to “live well,” (or best they could) because they had no alternative but to “Live by Following Natural Principles!”

My 6 tips on boosting your health and wellness to the next level by following what our ancestors had no choice but to do!

 

1. Power Naps: Take brief rests to gain more power. A nap can do wonders to boost your energy, recovery time, and overall sleep cycle and pattern.

2. Take time to “Play:” Children play and laugh all day. Adults tend to work, be too serious and not play or laugh enough. That’s why it’s vital to be conscious and aware and to make “your fun time through playing!” That can be sports games, hobbies, board games, anything that’s fun and you enjoy.

3. Don’t shun the Sunshine: Spend plenty of time in natural light for your essential dose of vitamin D – this is vital for physical, and mental health, and a good mood.

4. Feast on a Steak or Seafood Dinner: Enjoy the enticing flavors, nutrients, and healthy fats from a juicy steak or fresh seafood (oysters or lobsters are best!).

5. Avoid Heavy Workouts: Heavy overtraining with weights in the gym causes heart disease through excessive cortisol release – our stress hormone. Instead, go for natural bodyweight workouts no longer than 30 minutes where you use your body as your gym, plus choose functional/mobility movements over strenuous workout regimes for heart-healthy and sustainable fitness, health, and longevity.

6. Sprint for Your Health: Include sprints into your weekly movement routine – 1 to 2 printing sessions per week unlocks a variety of health benefits:

  1. Sparks increased secretion of human growth hormone (HGH), fueling recovery and rejuvenation.
  1. It lowers the risk of soft tissue injury, keeping you safe and healthier for longer.
  1. Elevates your mood, thanks to a natural endorphin rush.
  1. Enhances insulin sensitivity, helping regulate blood sugar levels.
  1. Accelerates body fat burning for a leaner physique.
  1. Boosts aerobic fitness, enhancing your endurance and stamina.
  1. Amplifies muscle mass and strength, building a stronger you.

Transform your health with sprints that fit your style and surroundings – here are the best sprinting options:

  • Run up a hill, on the grass or gravel, or by the beach on the sand
  • Sprint up steep steps or a stairwell in an office, apartment building, or hotel
  • Swim sprint for low-impact intensity but highly efficient and effective results
  • Row sprinting on an indoor rowing machine or in a canoe in the water
  • Sprint on a stationary bike, road bike on the street, or a mountain bike trail for a thrilling skillful sprinting session.
