Here’s To The Keto Trash Talkers — Button Up, Use Your Brains, And Stop Spreading Misinformation!

A random guy lectured me again on social media, claiming the keto diet is unsustainable in Cambodia and most Asian countries.

Rubbish! The keto-carnivore lifestyle is a breeze wherever you are — you only need to know your stuff, which this guy and most others don’t.

That’s why people like me exist — who’ve studied and followed the lifestyle for many years — to help you along your way to health and a great life!

The “keto lecturers” crack me up every time and annoy me too. They have no idea what they’re rambling about and don’t even bother to check who they’re blabbering their nonsense to — in this case, a certified keto-carnivore metabolic health coach.

I’ve only been 100% keto-carnivore for 8 years. I studied the lifestyle and created food and exercise programs that worked with hundreds of clients.

I’ve written 3 successful E-Books about keto, fitness, self-improvement, and how to achieve optimal metabolic and mental health.

I hate to say it, as I don’t brag.

However, sometimes you must set the record straight and get these wanna-be know-it-alls hush.

I’m an expert on the subject with tons of experience under my belt — you are not!

That’s why I do not accept trash-talk comments on my article posts.

Unsuspecting folks are always interested in learning more from my writings. I do not allow “non-experts” to hijack my posts and splash their senseless and incorrect comments on my posts.

The claim: You can’t eat keto at restaurants in Cambodia unless you interrogate every chef and owner!

Oh yeah, is that so? What a silly thing to say.

You can eat keto or carnivore in most decent restaurants if you know what to order, tell them what to NOT to put on your plate, and how you’d like it cooked.

There you have it — it’s that simple.

Here are a few handy of “how to eat out keto-carnivore” examples:

1 — Burger Joint

Order a double pattie burger with extra bacon and cheese. Ask them to serve your dish with no bun or fries, and make sure it’s cooked on the grill, not in a frying ban with seed oils.

2 — Indian Restaurant

Indian restaurants are tricky — their curries and sauces are all made with seed oils. These are toxic and cause cancer due to oxidization. Therefore, it’s vital to avoid them.

You only have 1 solution in Indian restaurants, but it’s a good one. Enjoy a half or whole tandoori chicken with their tasty mint sauce.

That’s 100% carnivore, cheap, and easy to do.

3 — Western-style Restaurant

Order any grilled meat: steak, chicken, pork, lamb, fish, seafood, and again, ask for your lunch or dinner to be either sauteed in a pan with real butter or flame-grilled.

  • A side of sweet potatoes is a good idea — they’re low-carb and delicious
  • Avoid anything that comes with sauces — they’re laden with seed oil
  • Limit your vegetable intake — they’re not as healthy as you think, are carb and fiber-rich — both destroy your gut and can make you gain weight

4 — The Chinese Experience

Just don’t go. Chinese restaurants never have butter — they cook everything in nasty toxic oil, making you fat and unhealthy.

5 — Japanese: Raw or cooked

Excellent — one of THE best dining out options. Sashimi (sushi with no rice) is fantastic, as are their grilled meats and fish.

Again, remember to ask for your food to be sauteed in butter or flame-grilled.

6 — Steak House

What could be better than a restaurant specializing in the tastiest and healthiest meat on the planet — beef steaks?!

Order the fatty cuts like rib-eye or T-bone. They’re the yummiest and most beneficial because of their high-protein and fat content.

Spoil yourself while you’re at it. There’s nothing wrong with having a little mashed potato on the side with a juicy steak once a week!

There’s another awesomely flavorful and healthy carnivore meal.

7 — Cambodian Food

There are several types of Cambodian foods.

The street stalls mainly sell rice or noodle dishes cooked in rancid oils, with tiny pieces of protein sprinkled in.

That’s not a good idea or anywhere near keto.

Don’t eat from the street unless it’s meat or seafood grilled in front of you — which they do, and I eat.

The great news about Cambodian food is their BBQs. They have excellent all-you-can-eat meat and seafood BBQs all over the place for about $7.50 per person.

If you stay away from the veggies on display and BBQ your chosen seafood and meat on the table yourself, you’re eating and living the optimal carnivore lifestyle.

Out of all the Southeast Asian countries I’ve visited — Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, Cambodia is by far the easiest to live 100% keto-carnivore, even if you choose to eat out daily.

Constant restaurant or cafe dining is for the lazy and will get expensive over time, despite the low prices in SEA.

I cook all my meals for 50% less than I’d spend in restaurants. Plus, I know what I’m putting into my food and body, and I save time and money.

Win-win, and a walk in the park.

Here’s a small sample of my weekly simple keto-carnivore meals:

  • Beef or chicken stroganoff in a creamy mushroom sauce. Cost: $4 — outside $10
  • Ribe-eye steak, sauteed in butter with garlic, onion, and bone broth, poured on top with creamy sweet potato mash. Cost: $7 — outside $14 to $25
  • Double beef burger patties with cheese. Cost: $3 — outside $7 to $10
  • Bacon (5 rashers), 4 eggs, with half an avocado. Cost: $3 — outside $8 to $10
  • Pork chop — 400 g — with bone broth, garlic, onions, hot chili, and sweet potato fries (in butter). Cost: $3 — outside $8 to $12

The numbers don’t lie — and I make my food delicious every single time. You can’t say that about restaurants. It’s hit-and-miss. You can be disappointed at least 50% of the time or even catch a dose of food poisoning.

That’s why I almost always cook at home and eat out at most once or twice weekly.

It’s healthier, far cheaper, and tastier.

Final Thoughts

Have I made the point about how easy it is to be and remain 100% keto-carnivore in Cambodia, even if you’re in the habit of eating out?

I think so.
