My work requires me to move around quite a bit – not only walk. I must travel to numerous cities, mountains, beaches, lakes, and more to capture the beauty of nature, the people, the culture, and the uniqueness of the country I live in – CAMBODIA.

I just arrived back in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia’s capital a couple of days ago. I was pleasantly surprised by a happy feeling engulfing me when I stepped out of the bus into the wild wild East –  I call, Phnom Penh!

Frequent traveling is tiring – it freezes up your body and mind. That’s why the first thing I do when I arrive at my new destination is go for a long walk! Not just one… I walk, rest, train a little, shower, go for another walk, and then I’ll finally eat.

Sometimes when I travel I do not eat for 24 hours or more. That’s the beauty of being fat-adapted, a fat burner, and on the Keto-Carnivore Diet.

Just walk more and eat less – a simple but effective health tip!

Early morning walks at sunrise at Phnom Penh’s Riverside are one of the most harmonious and balancing things for me to do!

They get my day started with full power, vigor, and happiness!

Today, only a few people were out walking or jogging. I was thus happy to find peace and calm in what is usually an overcrowded and mad city.

Check out my YouTube video from this morning where I explain my sensations:

Instead of the usual car honking and shouting people, I heard the birds singing, and people talking quietly, while the traffic in the background was barely noticeable.

Considering Phnom Penh is a wild, but fun, hustling, and bustling city – day and night – it’s very peaceful in the early morning hours, which is the best time to walk and relax your body, mind, and soul!

That’s why I enjoy spending time in Phnom Penh: I work, have fun, chill out with morning and evening walks, and talk with the welcoming and friendly people of Cambodia, plus my friends.

Final Thoughts

I highly recommend visiting Phnom Penh and all of Cambodia as soon as you can.

Why? Why not?

Are you worried that Cambodia is a dangerous country? If so, worry not. Cambodia is the most peaceful place I have ever lived in.

That says a lot – I’ve lived in 7 countries and 3 continents for more than 5 years each time. Plus, I have visited almost every country on this gorgeous planet Earth!
