The statistics have gone through the roof — type 2 diabetes and obesity are rising like never before, resulting in millions of premature deaths.

An oft-cited, yet still shocking statistic is that in the U.S., obesity is second only to smoking as one of the leading causes of death.

An estimated 300,000 deaths result from obesity in the US every year, though exact estimates are difficult to pin down.

Worldwide, at least 2.8 million deaths per year result from being overweight or obese.

The World is facing a health epidemic!

It’s a sad state of health in America and most of the world — the result of massive overconsumption of sugar, carbs, and junk food. Sugar and carbs are in nearly all food and drinks, either naturally or added purposely.

Note: In early June 2023, a new study in Lancet releaved there are now more than 100 million people in India living with T2D – 11.4% of the population . This is very bad news, as there’s no sign of this steep trajectory slowing down anytime soon!

Just about everyone eats this junk food, considered “normal,” day in and day out. Unfortunately, most unknowingly, as they are wrongfully led to believe that a high-carb, low-fat, and low-protein diet is good for their health.

They also think a sweet treat like cakes, candy, or ice cream here or there won’t hurt.

Sadly, the consensus, attitude, and approach to foods and drinks by the authorities and food industry is ass backward, making millions sick, resulting in a population decline.

Is that what big industries (food, pharma, health care, and insurance) want?

It sure looks like it when you consider 25 and 30-year-olds are being rushed to ERs with heart attacks and strokes. Then the doctors stick them on statins without giving any diet advice — that’s borderline criminal.

This a real-life story about how a young British man reversed his type 2 diabetes in only 6 months

I recently met a young man in a small resort I frequently visit to write and swim.

We started talking while he was sipping his ice-cold beers. He was on the chubby side, so I told him that drinking less beer might be a good idea.

I explained beer is carb-heavy and loaded with sugar. He said not to worry; he used to be double his present size!

“My doctor diagnosed me as a type 2 diabetic one year ago. That’s how overweight I was. They stuck me on Metformin but said nothing about my diet.”

“At first, I spent a few days in the hospital and was given the typical junk food, including desserts.”

That’s the classic and sad behavior still practiced by most doctors in hospitals managing diabetic patients.

Diagnose, prescribe statins and other meds, and move on to the next number.

Luckily, this man is clever and soon saw through the charade as he asked himself an excellent question:

“Why am I taking glucose-regulating medication but still eating junk food and not losing weight? This makes no sense.”

He caught a break, which most likely saved his life. He read about the keto diet, understood the concept and health benefits, and immediately transitioned to keto.

His keto results:

1 — After 3 months, he’d lost 20 kgs / 44 lbs.

2 — At the start of month 4, he discontinued the medication.

3 — 2 months later, he got tested and is no more a type 2 diabetic: He had lost a total of 60 lbs.

There you have it. It’s easy to do if you understand the lifestyle, stay committed, stick to your new healthy diet and follow a decent movement lifestyle.

The 7 simple steps that will reverse your type 2 diabetes and help you live a healthy, vibrant, and happy life:

1 — Eliminate all forms of sugar.

2 — Eliminate all grains.

3 — Eliminate vegetable seed oils.

4 — Eat fatty meats, fish, seafood, and lots of eggs.

5 — Eat only cruciferous vegetables and a little sweet potato.

6 — Enjoy a little dark chocolate, berries, full-fat yogurt, some cheese, raw milk, and heavy cream with your coffee.

7 — You may even enjoy a few glasses of red wine here and there.

There’s no need to deprive yourself of everything on the keto-carnivore diet. There are plenty of tasty food options that will satiate, satisfy, and nourish your body and mind well.

Final Thoughts

It’s mind-boggling to me that most doctors in this day and age still resort to prescribing meds to solve severe health issues.

However, good doctors like Dr. John Heary also knows that diet and exercise are of prime importance. So it’s always worth making sure you have a decent doctor by your side with any kind of condition you may be trying to improve upon.

Why don’t they seek alternate methods and explore the root cause of these terrible diseases?

Usually, these are an awful diet of junk and fast food, tons of carbs and sugar, and little to none of the healthy vital nutrients — protein and saturated animal fats.

Most weight health issues can almost always be overcome by changing your diet and adopting healthy lifestyle habits:

Plenty of exercise by walking, swimming, light resistance training, sprinting, good sleep, and sun exposure — not meds.
